  • Maintains focus and productivity by facilitating team Scrum ceremonies including:
    • Sprint Planning
    • Backlog Refinement
    • Daily Standup
    • Sprint Reviews
    • Sprint Retrospectives
  • Serves as a liaison between the product owner and the Scrum team to maintain sprint backlog and ensure sprint planning meats the goals.
  • Continuously improves communications between product owner, the Scrum Team,  other Scrum Teams and the company stake holders.
  • Maintains and update the team(s) Atlassian Jira dashboard.
  • Monitors progress , eliminates impediments, and seeks opportunities for continued improvements.
  • Prepares monthly and quarterly performance metrics such as velocity and burndown charts. Essentially a team’s velocity is how much it can accomplish during a given time. The sprint burndown chart shows the team’s completion of work throughout the sprint.
  • Ensures all Product Backlog Items (PBIs) are aligned with current and future sprint goals and overall company goals buy routinely meeting with stakeholders and product owners, and perhaps business and systems analysts to determine stated objectives and resolves any impediments impacting any of the current PBIs.
  • Leads and contributes to the program increment planning ceremonies from inception to increment deployment.
  • Regularly meets and attends the Scrum of Scrums meeting to share progress with other Scrum Teams and identify and resolve any impediments.
  • Makes sure the work today is aligned with the roadmap of overall work of tomorrow for the company as a whole.
